Single-lane traffic to be maintained throughout the day Friday.

The Pennsylvania Department of Transportation (PennDOT) is announcing drainage replacement work on McCully Road (Route 1012) in Hampton Township, Allegheny County will occur this weekend, Friday through Monday, October 9-12 weather permitting.

Drainage replacement work requiring a full closure and detour of McCully Road between Kenson Drive and Topnick Drive will occur from 8:00 PM Friday through 5:00 AM Monday morning. Local access will be maintained. Additionally, there will be alternating single-lane restrictions throughout the day Friday until the closure is implemented. These restrictions are being coordinated with local school traffic.

West of the Closure

  • Head south on Route 8
  • Turn left onto Harts Run Road
  • Turn left onto Middle Road
  • Continue to McCully Road
  • End detour

East of the Closure

  • Same detour in the opposite direction
  1. Folino Construction, Inc. is the prime contractor on the $10.57 million group paving project.
