The Pennsylvania Department of Transportation (PennDOT) is announcing utility work on Route 148 (Lysle Boulevard) in the City of McKeesport, Allegheny County will begin Wednesday, August 12 weather permitting.

Beginning Wednesday, a single lane of traffic will be maintained in both directions of Route 148 between Evans Avenue and Center Street from 8:00 AM to 4:00 PM each day through mid-September to accommodate duct bank installation work by Duquesne Light. No work will occur September 4-7 for Labor Day weekend.

Please stay alert and drive cautiously – safety is everyone’s responsibility.
