The Pennsylvania Department of Transportation (PennDOT) is announcing utility work on Route 3069 (Washington Road) and Route 3044 (Castle Shannon Boulevard) in Mt. Lebanon, Allegheny County is underway.
Single-lane alternating traffic restrictions controlled by flaggers will occur on Washington Road between Jefferson Drive and Castle Shannon Boulevard from 9:00 AM to 3:00 PM daily through late October. Additionally, short-term lane restrictions will occur on Castle Shannon Boulevard at the intersection with Washington Road to accommodate this work. Crews from NPL will conduct gas main replacement work for Columbia Gas.
