PennDOT is announcing slide repair work on Route 4019 (Mount Royal Boulevard) in Hampton Township, Allegheny County will begin Monday, June 10 weather permitting.

Slide repair work, requiring the closure of a portion of Mount Royal Boulevard between Toner Avenue and Duncan Avenue, will begin at 7 a.m. Monday. To allow the work to occur, an around-the-clock closure of Mount Royal Boulevard will occur through late August. Traffic will be detoured.

Posted Detour

North of the Closure

  • From Mount Royal Boulevard, turn right onto Route 8 (William Flinn Highway)
  • Turn right onto Duncan Avenue
  • Follow Duncan Avenue back to Mount Royal Boulevard
  • End detour

South of the Closure

  • Same detour in the opposite direction

Crews from A. Liberoni, Inc. will conduct the work. Please use caution when traveling through the corridor.
