The Pennsylvania Department of Transportation (PennDOT) is announcing waterline replacement work on Penn Avenue (Route 8) in the City of Pittsburgh, Allegheny County will begin tonight, Monday, October 5 weather permitting.
Crews from Independent Enterprises will conduct waterline work along Penn Avenue between North Dallas Avenue and North Homewood Avenue from 8:00 PM to 5:00 AM each night through Friday morning, October 9. Majority of the impacts will be off the road within the sidewalks along Penn Avenue. However, there is a potential that single-lane alternating restrictions can occur.
