PennDOT District 11 is announcing replacement work on the Route 910 (Gibsonia Road) bridge over Deer Creek in West Deer Township, Allegheny County, will begin Monday, June 3 weather permitting.

Beginning at approximately 7 a.m. on Monday, bridge replacement work will begin on Route 910 between Christonia Road and Martin Road. To allow this work to occur, Route 910 will close at the bridge location continuously through Wednesday, August 21. All traffic will be detoured.

East of the Closure

  • From Route 910, turn onto Cedar Ridge Road (Route 1020)
  • Turn right onto Middle Road
  • Follow Middle Road back to Route 910
  • End detour

West of the Closure

  • Same detour in the opposite direction

Additional work on this $1.99 million bridge replacement project will include milling and paving of the approach roadway, drainage improvements, guide rail updates, and pavement marking installation. The project is expected to conclude in early November 2024.

The prime contractor is Allison Park Contractors.
