As we complete our 2025-2026 fiscal year, we are celebrating progress.
Progress is built one step at a time and in transportation, progress can take many forms—from improvements to our services, finding creative ways to make connections and sustaining our partnerships, ACTA continues to make progress in the Airport Corridor.
During the past fiscal year, our RideACTA shuttle service made significant strides. Ridership increased 34% with our average daily ridership increasing 39%. We added over 60 new businesses to our roster of locations served and our dispatch center fielded over 14,000 calls from RideACTA customers. We learned through rider surveys that 92% of respondents were satisfied to very satisfied with the service while 67% of respondents used the service 3-6 days per week. Our environmental impact also improved. During fiscal year 2025-2026 RideACTA saved 1,178,134 vehicle miles traveled, 47,315 gallons of gas and eliminated 700 tons of CO2.
During 2027, we will continue to look for ways to improve the transportation experience for the people we serve. While there is always more work ahead, it is important to pause and celebrate the accomplishments made possible through the hard work of our team, the support of our partners, and the trust of our riders.
We are proud of what we have accomplished and excited about what lies ahead. Thank you to everyone who plays a part in our continued progress. I would like to recognize Allegheny County, the Airport Corridor townships of Findlay, Moon, North Fayette, and Robinson, PennDOT and the Southwestern Pennsylvania Commission for their continued support of ACTA. This support helps us move forward and strengthens our commitment to providing dependable, accessible transportation for our community.
Here is to celebrating where we are today—and continuing to move forward together.
