The Department of Public Works announced that the 2400 block of Brandt School Road in Franklin Park has reopened to traffic earlier than expected. The closure, which began yesterday, was expected to end on Friday. It was necessary to repair a void beneath the roadway that was discovered during recent utility work.
Brandt School Road is used by an average of 12,761 vehicles daily.
The work was completed by a Public Works crew.
