Millvale Borough, the Pennsylvania Department of Transportation (PennDOT) Engineering District 11-0, and the Federal Highway Administration (FHWA) are pleased to invite you to attend a public informational meeting being conducted on Thursday, May 21 at 5:30 PM to discuss the Millvale Borough Bridges Replacement project. This public meeting will provide preliminary project details, anticipated traffic control, and a tentative project schedule. Additionally, this meeting is also an opportunity for the public to review and comment on the project’s potential effect upon cultural resources per the National Historic Preservation Act. The project team will be available to answer questions and gather feedback.

Location: Millvale Borough Community Center, 416 Lincoln Avenue, Millvale, PA
The purpose of the project is to replace three poor condition bridges to provide safe and sustainable structures over Girtys Run in Millvale Borough. The three structures are:
- Lincoln Avenue Bridge #7, which is currently closed to traffic, is located on Lincoln Avenue between North Avenue and Fornoff Street
- Grant Avenue Bridge #8, which is posted for 6 tons, is located on Grant Avenue between North Avenue and Fornoff Street
- Lincoln Avenue Bridge #13, which is posted for 3 tons and the sidewalk is closed, is located on Lincoln Avenue between Wehple Street and East Ohio Street.
PennDOT will provide oversight on the project, as Millvale Borough owns the bridges, and anticipates construction to begin in 2028 on the two Lincoln Avenue structures with the Grant Avenue structure following in 2029.
