The Pennsylvania Department of Transportation (PennDOT) is announcing traffic signal upgrade work on Freeport Road (Route 1001) in Harrison Township, Allegheny County will begin Wednesday, July 23 weather permitting.
To accommodate traffic signal upgrade work, there will be short-term restrictions on Freeport Road (Route 1001) at the intersection with Springhill Road each weekday, as needed, through late November according to the following schedule:
- Shoulder closures will occur from 7:00 AM to 6:00 PM
- Short-term single-lane restrictions will occur from 9:00 AM to 3:00 PM
