PennDOT District 11 is announcing a full closure on Route 3010 (W. Washington Street) in Union Township, Lawrence County, will begin Monday, June 10 weather permitting.

Starting 7 a.m. Monday, an around-the-clock closure will occur on the bridge that carries W. Washington Street over I-376 in each direction between Winter Road and Wilson Road continuously through mid-August. Crews will perform milling and paving operations, in addition to other miscellaneous work. During the bridge closure, traffic will be detoured via Scotland Lane, Route 224 (W. State Street), and Winter Road.

This work is part of the $8.34 million improvement project to repair the bridges over the roadway and repave I-376 and Route 422. Work will include milling and paving, bridge preservation, sign structure preservation, guide rail, drainage, signing, pavement marking/delineation, and other miscellaneous operations. Motorists can expect overnight lane restrictions and several nightly ramp closures before the project concluded in the fall of 2024. Lindy Paving, Inc. is the prime contractor.
