Ewings Mill Road to close to traffic around-the-clock.
The Pennsylvania Department of Transportation (PennDOT) is announcing slide remediation work on Ewings Mill Road (Route 3074) in Robinson Township, Allegheny County will begin Monday, September 28 weather permitting.
Slide remediation work on Ewings Mill Road between Flynn Drive and Hickman Road will begin at approximately 9:00 AM Monday and continue around-the-clock through late October. Crews from A. Liberoni, Inc. will conduct the slide remediation and road reconstruction work. Local access will be maintained to the closure points. Traffic will be detoured.

- Traffic will take North Forest Grove Road to Route 51
- Turn left onto northbound Route 51 (Coraopolis Road)
- Continue to the intersection with Thorn Run Road
- Turn left onto Thorn Run Road
- Turn left onto Beaver Grade Road
- Turn left onto Coraopolis Heights Road
- Turn right onto Hassam Road
- Hassam Road becomes Ewings Mill Road
- End detour
West of the closure
- Same detour in the opposite direction
