PennDOT District 11 is announcing daylight lane restrictions are underway on Penn Avenue (Route 380/400) in the City of Pittsburgh, Allegheny County.

Lane restrictions will occur on Penn Avenue in both directions between Fifth Avenue and Centre Avenue weekdays from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. through mid-August. At least one lane in each direction will be maintained during the project.  Crews are currently replacing inlets and valve boxes.

The work is part of a $9 million group resurfacing job.

Motorists can check conditions on more than 40,000 roadway miles, including color-coded winter conditions on 2,900 miles, by visiting www.511PA.com. 511PA, which is free and available 24 hours a day, provides traffic delay warnings, weather forecasts, traffic speed information, and access to more than 1,000 traffic cameras.
