Month-long closure needed for work related to the Mon/Fayette Expressway Project.

The Pennsylvania Turnpike Commission wants to alert motorists that a portion of Camp Hollow Road (S.R. 2043) in West Mifflin Borough, Allegheny County, will be closed with a detour in place for approximately one month beginning July 20.

Camp Hollow Road will be closed in both directions between New England Road and Camden Hill Road. A detour will be posted utilizing Clairton Road (S.R. 885) and Lebanon Church Road (S.R. 2040).

During the closure, crews will be conducting roadway and drainage reconstruction work. Camp Hollow Road is expected to reopen August 19.

This is anticipated to be the final closure of Camp Hollow Road for construction related to the Mon/Fayette Expressway Project.

The New England Road closure currently in place is being lifted early. New England Road is reopening July 20.
