The Pennsylvania Department of Transportation (PennDOT) is announcing overnight patching operations on southbound I-79 in Collier Township, Allegheny County will occur Monday, August 17 weather permitting.
To accommodate patching operations, a single-lane restriction will occur on southbound I-79 from the Carnegie (Exit 57) interchange continuing approximately one-half mile south from 9:00 PM to 5:00 AM Monday night. PennDOT maintenance crews will conduct the work.
Please use caution if traveling through the area. Work zone safety is everyone’s responsibility.
