Single-lane restriction needed to remove debris due to a mud slide.

The Pennsylvania Turnpike Commission wants to alert motorists that a portion of New England Road in West Mifflin Borough, Allegheny County will be reduced to one lane so crews can clear debris from a mud slide.

The lane restriction is in place between Camp Hollow Road and Coal Valley Road.

Flaggers are directing traffic around the affected area.

No timeline yet to reopen the lane. Crews will be on the scene working until the debris is cleared and the area is safe for traffic.
